Yorkshire Beekeepers Association has 23 affiliated district beekeeping groups across the county and provides a voice for its members with larger organisations. Each year, YBKA offers displays of equipment, information about honey bees and beekeeping, displays of bee handling etc at the Great Yorkshire Show (Bee Garden - by the Blue Gate). YBKA stages an annual, peripatetic honey show, incorporated in larger shows across the county. YBKA provides an autumn and winter series of online talks for members, offers occasional workshops and other training opportunities to complement those delivered at a local level.
